Gangwon FC successfully concluded its first open training event.
Gangwon FC held an ‘Open Training Day’ event at the Orange House in Gangneung, Gangwon-do on the 23rd. About 180 fans attended the first open training event and 텍사스홀덤 left with unforgettable memories.
The event began with high-fives from the players and fans as they entered the field. Before the training session, head coach Yoon Jeong-hwan said, “It’s been a long time since we’ve had an event like this. I hope you will watch the players train well and continue to give them a lot of attention and affection. I hope you can spend a good time with the players today.” He welcomed the fans.
“Thank you very much for your time, even though it’s the weekend,” said captain Hankyoung. I hope everyone here has a good time. I think this is my first time at Gangwon FC, so I will make sure to make it a meaningful time and leave it in my memories.”
The players practiced with the same seriousness as in practice, and the fans cheered them on. After the training session, the players and fans met face-to-face. In particular, Yoon Jung-hwan gave fans a meaningful pair of soccer shoes that he kept from his playing days, and Yang Min-hyuk gave fans a pair of soccer shoes that he wore at the U-17 World Cup.
Next up was the OX quiz. Players and fans alike exchanged O’s and X’s without distinction. The players and fans had big smiles on their faces as they took the quiz. The last official part of the day was a group photo. The players didn’t leave the field afterward, and they actively responded to fans’ requests for autographs and photos.
Narsha Chairman Jeon In-pyo, who participated in the event, said, “This was the first time I’ve ever organized such an event, and I have really good memories. Coach Yoon Jeong-hwan and the entire squad were so welcoming that I don’t know how the time passed,” he said. “I hope there will be more events like this in the future where we can work together with the squad.”
Meanwhile, Gangwon FC will continue to increase its interaction with fans through various programs in the future.
